REAL STEEL

I watched 3 movies 3 weeks in a row woooow.  And i choose REAL STEEL as a touched one.  Real Steel is a movie directed by Shawn Levy and starred by Hugh Jackman and Dakota Goyo as lead roles.  It’s really worth to watch i swear!

                     

                                                             

The movie is taken place in 2020 when human have been replaced by robot in boxing.  A former boxer, Charlie Kenton has a robot named Ambush. He such be arrogant  when exhibit Ambush in an amusing park. He bets that Ambush would defeat Black Thunder, a bull belonging to a match promotor, Ricky(Kevin Durand). Otherwise, Ambush lose and go to pieces. Charlie owes Ricky $20000 then and leave before paying.

Charlie’s ex girlfriend has just died and left their son, Max (Dacota Goyo) with her sister. Her sister and her brother in law will go on their second honeymoon. Thus, they ask Charlie to look after Max for 3 months. Then, Charlie charge $50000.

With the money, Charlie buy a secondhand robot. Because of that, Max knows that Charlie likes robot boxing . Actually, Max is a videogamer and he knows much about the robot boxer.  Then, Charlie and Max go to the illegal boxing match. Charlie’s overconfident and lose. Max feels disappointed with his father until one day Max find a burried robot. Max pull it up and clean it by himself. He ask for Charlie’s childhood friend, Bailey Tallet (Evangeline Lily) help to repair the robot. Max calls it Atom. Atom has a rare censor to follow human movement and commands. Max coach Atom to be a superstar robot  in a big match called WRB (World Robot Boxing League). 

                                                 

This movie shows the conflict between Charlie and Max, Charlie and Bailey as they love each other, and also conflict with Ricky as Charlie owes money. The peak conflict is in WRB when Atom fight with a superstar robot that designed by Tak Maksido (Karl Yune), a famous robot designer.

Many good values contained in this movie. And my favorite one is never give up on something that you believe. You must have your own faith, courage, strength to make it happens. Never ever care about someone doubt in you.  Even someone think it’s impossible. Just do it as nothing is impossible. -imes

AIESEC

AIESEC is an international student organization which offers two programs,leadership and exchange. In leadership program, we can improve our interpersonal skills especially leadership skill. On the other hand, exchange program gives us a chance to go abroad for doing some social projects and professional internships.

Only few universities in Indonesia that have AIESEC program. Fortunately, there is AIESEC BINUS \:D/. I just knew about the info from my friend. She told me a little bit about AIESEC and new members recruitment. At that moment, the deadline for collecting the recruitment files was about two days to go. I was like sent an email then i got a reply of appform that i had to fill up. The appform must be collected with a resume in english indeed. So, i did it all day long. Voila after i had done it, i sent it through email. Btw, it's the first stage of members recruitment. On the following day, the announcement of who passed the stage was published. Alhamdulillah i passed it (:

The next stage is FGD stage. On this stage, we devided to some groups and had to do a discussion about the global issues. In english indeed :D . The result was announced at the night and Alhamdulillah i made it. I was like dreaming :").

The last stage is interview. I was little bit afraid and nervous because of interviewing in english. Fortunately, couple weeks before the interview stage, i had had an interview with a UK native at EF. So, i was not that nerveous. Otherwise, i'd rather be interviewed by native than Indonesian. The result of the stage would be announced two days after it. Yet, it was postponed til the next day. I was like cant do nothing thinking of it. Alhamdulillah it announced this morning and voila! i made it i made it! Alhamdulillah ya Allah. I am one of the AIESEC BINUS members \:D/. I wish i would get many epic experiences. Keep the spirit!

aspiration and dream

'I really want to graduate from college on time and have a great job that can brought me travelling to around the world. I'll get them in 4 years' that's what i think now

Aspiration is the goal that we wanna pursue based on what we dreaming on. Dream is just a temporal desire and sometimes we dont know how to reach that. Specifically, aspiration is a dream that we have and we passionately try to pursue yet we have our own time limit for pursuing that.

Everyone must have the own dreams. Yet, it's better to make dream become aspiration. Just putting the time limit and striving with your own way to pursue what you dream. Seems simple if you passionately wanna do that,right? Dont stop believing and keep praying :"D

Kopi

Siapa sih yang enggak suka kopi? mungkin ada tapi kalo pertanyaan nya diubah Siapa sih yang ga pernah minum kopi? Nah ini baru aneh kalo sampe ada orang yang enggak pernah minum kopi. Apalagi buat kita orang Indonesia,terutama melayu. Kopi merupakan minuman favorit mulai dari abang ojek sampe nenek-nenek. Saya sendiri termasuk pencinta kopi walaupun sebenarnya saya tidak begitu addict dan sampai tau seluk beluk kopi,tapi saya bisa membedakan mana kopi yang enak atau tidak ;);)

Tempat jual kopi atau kedai kopi atau caffe yang menyediakan berbagai macam kopi sangatlah beragam di Jakarta.

Salah satu favorit saya adalah Starbucks. Siapa sih yang ga tau starbucks. Starbucks menyediakan berbagai macam kopi dan cemilan untuk menemani minum kopi yang sangat beragam. Walaupun tergolong tidak ramah di kantong apalagi untuk kantong anak kuliah seperti saya, tetapi starbucks is very worth buying! Salah satu kopi favorit saya dan memang saya selalu pesan ini juka kesana adalah Caramel Macchiato. It made by espresso, vanilla syrup, steamed milk, and also my favorite one caramel topping :9

tetapi menurut saya yang paling enak jika disajikan panas. Karena kopi sebenarnya lebih terasa jika disajikan panas. Sebenarnya tergantung selera, tapi tidak semua kopi enak untuk disajikan dalam keadaan dingin.
Untuk rasa,di starbucks mana pun memiliki rasa yang sama baik di Starbucks Indonesia ataupun di Starbucks luar Indonesia. Dimana pun tetap yang saya pesan adalah hot caramel macchiato ;);)

Kedai kopi favorit saya selanjutnya adalah Killiney Kopitiam
Killiney ini bukan merupakan kedai kopi asli Indonesia,namun memiliki beberapa cabang di Indonesia. Killiney ini asli dari Singapore. Kedai kopi yang sudah berdiri sejak 1919 ini, menyajikan berbagai macam beverages and food. Untuk yang belum pernah ke killiney mungkin bingung dengan menu nya seperti Kopi O,Kopi C, Tea O, Tea C. Sebenarnya O hanya menunjukkan polos atau tidak pake apa-apa atau o=black. Kalau, C artinya pakai susu.

Favorit saya adalah kopi C karena rasanya yang tidak terlalu manis dan juga tidak terlalu pahit. Kalau merasa terlalu pahit, bisa juga minta extra sugar :D. Untuk tea C, itu adalah teh tarik. Rasanya juga tidak kalah enak dengan kopi di killiney.
Killiney juga menjual beberapa makanan untuk menemani minum kopi dan teh. Makanan nya adalah makanan melayu. Seperti

Yang pernah saya coba adalah bread toast yaitu kaya toast, Curry chicken, dan juga mee siam. Untuk lidah orang Indonesia, mee siam kurang cocok. Karena rasa nya yang terlalu melayu menurut saya. Yang wajib dicoba adalah curry chicken dan kaya toast. Untuk Curry chicken di Killiney,rasanya sangat lezat dan kuah curry nya kental. Cocok untuk lidah orang Indonesia. Nah untuk kaya toast,ini tidak ada tandingan nya. Kya toast di Killiney ini sungguh sangat lezat sekali :9. Rasanya tidak terlalu manis dan ada rasa gurih nya. Cocok dimakan dalam keadaan hangat dan merupakan sahabat minum kopi. 

Jika ke singapore, tidak lengkap rasanya jika tidak berkunjung ke kopitiam terutama Killiney. Everytime i go to Singapore, i always go there.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love (First Love)

   Crazy Little Thing Called Love a.k.a First Love is a new Thai movie. I just watched it. From the title of the movie, i bet you can guess that it's a romantic movie. But, it's not like usual romantic movies. The gender is romantic but it's seasoned with lil bit comedy. Overall,the movie is so epic and unpredictable. 

     The movie is about the first love of Nam. Nam is a junior high school student at Thailand. She is a nerd. She got a crush of her popular-cute-senior named Chone. Nam is really into Chone. She's doing her best to make Chone notice. But, Chone's bestfriend gets into Nam. And the conflict begins ;D. Ya, approximately it's lil bit of the story of First Love. I recommend you to watch this!

      NB: Chone is really cute >.< im head over heels when see him.

    

    



madesu

   Some of you maybe feel lil bit confused when hear 'maduse'. It's like an Indonesian slang word heheh. You can't find this word in Indonesia Dictionary. Madesu is the abbreviation of 'Masa Depan Suram'. Suram is such miserable. So,if we translate it properly,'Masa Depan Suram=Miserable Future Life'. But it's not exactly the meaning. When you say 'madesu' it means you have no passion to do something or you think that something is really hard for you.
   And i feel like madesu now :(. It's because of my college stuff. I'm a sophomore. My major is computer science. I'm in my fourth term and in this term,the colleger must choose their specialization. The specialization are Networking,Cisco,Database,Oracle,Multimedia System,Artificial Intellegent, and Software Engineering. Maybe,im gonna choose database. But,honestly, i dont know why im gonna choose this :( . I dont even know well about each specialization :(. And i have to choose it two weeks later. It's kinda hard cos im afraid of the wrong choice and it will affect my career later :(.
    Yeaaaaaah i'm 'galau' and feel like madesu rite now. Is it my calling if i choose database or it's just my temporal desire?

My Biggest Condolences :(

.....One of the news in 2011 i heard that made me 'errrrrr seriously' *shocked* ?!?! It's all about the new regulation about foreign movies in Indonesia. Indonesian Government, Custom Duty Sector, declared the tax for the foreign movies that will be shown in Indonesia. The tax is about 23,75% from the value of the movie. What make it worse is not how much the tax but the oddity of the tax. You will never find about it at all countries around the world. So, all foreign movie maker companies dismissed the movie transmission to Indonesia. Pathetic right :(

     Not only the foreign-movies-lovers like me who is dissapointed of the regulation,but also the cinema's employers. Their highest income is not from the local movies but from foreign movies. Indonesian people rather choose foreign movies than local movies. It's not because of their poor nationality but because of the quality of local film. Local movie maker companies produce 100-150 movies a year but only 3-4 movies that win the viewer. So, it's not weird that Indonesian rather choose foreign movies than local movies. The cinema's employers is afraid of losing their highest income because of it. The cinema employees have the same problem too. They're afraid of losing their job if the cinema's collapse. And it will increase the number of unemployment in Indonesia.

     I hope the Indonesian Custom Duty Sector will consider it. So,the cinema's employers and employees are not loss and we,as a citizen,can use our right to get information (especially from the foreign movies).




    

CHITCU!!!!

i got a new friend. It's name chitcu! Yeah i call it chitcu. I treat it like a baby boy :p. Chitcu is a good boy. He's plumpy but sexy like meeeh exactly. He eats lot of food everyday, 5times a day wuuuhuuuu can you imagine that? He's lil bit naughty but not cruel. His hobby is sleeping like me ;);) . Uuuu i heart you chitcu. YOU'RE SO FLUFFY!!!! IM GONNA DIEEEEE!

First of all i wanna say "HAPPY HOLIDAY" for binusian i mean ;D. We only have a week holiday. But it's pretty enough for me cos holidays mean no salary -__-".

I wish nothin in my short holidays but a productive one. So,i decided to try somethin new. And i chose PHOTOGRAPHY!  I was into arts when i was in elementary school. I love drawing,ballet,and dancing. My right and left brain work equally. But now -___-" unfortunately, i just use my left brain. So, i try to develop my right brain and spend my holidays with photography ;) ;). These are some of pictures that i took. Simple but i believe it's pretty good hehehehe.
